Congratulations Karl!
A research article by postdoctoral fellow Dr. Ata Kheyrandish, together with Dr. Madjid Mohseni and Dr. Fariborz Taghipour, recently won the IUVA award for Best Paper: “Classic” UV Paper. Their article titled “Protocol for Determining Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diode (UV-LED) Fluence for Microbial Inactivation Studies” was recognized for being an important and frequently referenced paper prior to 2019. Ph.D. candidate Fuhar Dixit has been chosen as the inaugural recipient of Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. This is an award given to the top graduate student in the Faculty of Applied Science at The University of British Columbia to recognize their outstanding academic and research achievements. We celebrated Fuhar’s achievement with a chocolate cake. Congratulations Fuhar!
